TNC Female Right Angle 4-Hole Flange RF Connector for Secure Mounting
The TNC series represents a threaded adaptation of the BNC connector, incorporating screw threads for reliable mating. Characterized by their miniature size and threaded, waterproof design, TNC RF connectors maintain a consistent 50-ohm impedance across a frequency range extending from DC to 11 GHz. Two variants exist: standard and reverse polarity. Despite being constructed from die-cast and molded components, which may not match the performance of industrial or premium-grade alternatives, these cost-effective connectors excel in diverse commercial settings. Commonly employed in antenna connections, TNC connectors find extensive use in avionics, defense, communications, and various industrial sectors. Additionally, reverse polarity and 75-ohm versions of the TNC connector are also available.
