High Performance TNC Right Angle Male to Female RF Coaxial Adapter Connector
The TNC series product is a threaded variant of the BNC connector, distinguished by its screw-thread mating mechanism. These miniature, threaded units are waterproof and maintain a consistent 50 Ohm impedance, functioning across a frequency range from DC to 11 GHz. There are two variants: standard and reverse polarity. Typically made from die-cast and molded components, these cost-effective connectors might not match the performance of industrial or high-quality grade products but are well-suited for diverse commercial applications. Commonly employed in antenna connections, TNC connectors find extensive use in avionics, communications, and various industrial sectors. Additionally, reverse polarity and 75 Ohm versions of the TNC connector are also available.

Features:
1. Connection Stability
Threaded connection structure: the use of screw coupling structure, this design allows the adapter to be firmly fixed on the equipment or cable when connecting, even in a long-term continuous vibration environment, or when subjected to external forces accidentally pulling, but also to ensure the stability of the connection, to protect the continuity and stability of the signal transmission.
2. Electrical Properties
Good voltage resistance: usually able to withstand higher voltages, for example, some TNC adapters can withstand voltages of up to 500V, which gives them an obvious advantage in some high-voltage circuit applications, and can better adapt to complex electrical environments.
Excellent high-frequency performance: The operating frequency range covers 0-11GHz and even higher (e.g. 0-18GHz), much higher than some other common RF connectors (e.g. BNC plugs designed for 4GHz and below). Therefore, when dealing with high frequency signals, it can effectively reduce signal loss and distortion, ensuring that the signal is transmitted in a high quality condition.
Application:
Communication field
Wireless base station construction: When building wireless communication networks, TNC adapters are used to connect RF equipment, antenna systems and transmission cables in base stations. It can ensure stable and efficient transmission of signals among various links, reduce signal loss and interference, and improve the communication quality and coverage of the base station. For example, in the construction of 5G base stations, TNC adapters are widely used to connect base stations and antenna arrays to ensure high-speed data transmission.
Satellite communication: TNC adapters play an important role in connecting the equipment of satellite communication ground stations. It can connect satellite communication equipment, antenna feeders and other related instruments to realize high-quality RF signal transmission between ground stations and satellites to ensure the stability and reliability of satellite communication.
Radio transmitting and receiving system: In the transmitting and receiving system of radio station and broadcasting station, TNC adapter can be used to connect transmitter, receiver, antenna and other equipments to ensure the accurate transmission of audio and video signals, and improve the effect and quality of broadcasting.
