Introduction
SSMP is a compact push-on RF coaxial connector that offers several advantages over traditional SMP connectors. It has a smaller volume, lighter weight, and a wide operating bandwidth. This makes it ideal for board-to-board connections in modular, densely packed applications. The plug features two interface options, one with full detent and the other with an unthreaded hole.
The RF interconnect family caters to the requirements of small package designs. It is suitable for high-speed signal transmission applications and can be used in blindmate board-to-board systems with a floating bullet. This floating bullet serves as a link between the mated pairs and compensates for both radial and axial misalignment.
