Connector K-type Female to ASMP Female RF Connector for Seamless RF Integration
ASMP is a novel blind mate RF connector that shares the same structure and usage method as SMP. Its outline dimension is approximately 22% larger than SMP, resulting in almost 30%~50% higher transmission power. ASMP is well-suited for board-to-board connections, modular intensive mounting, and high power requirements. The male SMP connector comes in two interface forms - full detent and smooth bore, while the female connector only has one interface, which can be mated with any kind of male connector.
The K-type, also referred to as the 2.92mm connector, is a widely utilized millimeter wave connector. Its operational frequency can reach up to 40 GHz. Through its air interface, it can be interchanged with both the SMA series and the 3.5mm connectors. This connector boasts the benefits of being compact, lightweight, capable of high-frequency usage, and providing reliable connections.
